Personality and local differences
For Killigan’s Treasure Public v0.57a. Choices along the journey shift Personality. The displayed Noble, Neutral, or Barbaric tendency can affect lines, actions, and a few choices. Use the journey overview to find the local event.
What are Noble, Neutral, and Barbaric?
The Personality icon and pointer in Stats show whether Killigan currently leans Noble, Neutral, or Barbaric. Stats shows a broad tendency; dialogue and available responses can vary within the same tier. Direction icons beside choices hint which way the tendency may move, and later choices can change it further. In Public v0.57a, the differences mainly affect dialogue, actions and individual options.
Does Neutral have its own content?
Yes, in some local dialogue and actions. On Aris Day 2, if Killigan does not already have a Marchanide Langou and Macsen asks him to choose clothes, A langou. can lead to a Thanks. response. This is one response that varies with the current tendency. Keep a regular save early enough to reach different tendencies if you want to compare them.
Differences by region
Redroot Wilds Day 1: choosing a tendency
Someone noble. and Someone barbaric. on Redroot Wilds Day 1 move Killigan in the corresponding directions; I'm not sure... does not make that particular move. The spirit’s opening Truth / Ideals and Betray / Uphold answers are a different set of value choices, not a substitute for the Personality tier shown in Stats. If your only goal is Cabotte’s Day 8 scene, follow the fight and Belt conditions. You do not need a particular Personality tier for it.
Aris Day 4: what to wear while modelling
Use Macsen’s early preparation to reach the Model for him? invitation on Day 4. Choose Sure when it appears to enter the scene. A langou or Summit Attire is available as clothing. Choose Nothing when it is currently selectable. All three outfits lead to the same Memory, with different presentation. You need not choose Nothing to collect the entry. Save before the invitation to compare outfits, or use an earlier save if you need a different Personality tendency. See acquisition and replay.
Aris Day 7 morning: the clothing question
At the Tavern on Day 7 morning, Killigan may be asked Put something on?, or dress or leave directly, depending on his current tendency. This changes the immediate preparation and nearby lines, not access to the later optional scene inside the Tavern’s outhouse. To compare it, keep saves from before entering the Tavern with different Personality tendencies.
Aris Day 7: dialogue in the outhouse
Personality also changes one of Killigan’s thoughts inside the Tavern’s outhouse. It does not block the later Sure response to the stranger’s invitation. For the adult scene, follow the Day 7 choice reminder. The Day 7 Memories entry identifies the image and covers SFW settings and saves.
To compare accepting and refusing the invitation, save before the choice in the outhouse. To compare Personality-driven opening actions or dialogue, you need an earlier save that lets you follow different Personality choices.
Aris Day 11: the banquet’s 2000 Ouros
Take it accepts the 2000 Ouros. Cast it aside and Give it to the beasts of Aris are refusals that open according to earlier Personality choices. They may be visible but can only be chosen when currently selectable. Refusing leaves you without the money and mainly changes the response. These answers do not gate Macsen’s balcony decision. A save before the money question lets you compare answers already available at that point; use an earlier save to change Personality. See the banquet journey.
Crystal Plains Day 5: helping Zhokhar
After finding Zhokhar, Help treat him moves Personality toward Noble and brings you closer to him; Leave him be moves it toward Barbaric. The thought Killigan has before the question can vary with his tendency, but neither answer is locked by it. Macsen continues treating Zhokhar either way. Save before the question if you want both versions; you do not need to change your displayed tier for the single Day 5 Memory. See the Crystal Plains journey.
Spiceport: park choices and Personality
You can help at the Residential Streets nursery once on Day 3 or 4. It reopens on Day 5, and can still be available during Day 6 free exploration if you did not do it on Day 5. Each time, Help out moves Personality toward Noble and Leave toward Barbaric, but both choices end with Killigan helping. The visible payment can be 50 or 25 Ouros, depending on Wits with currently worn equipment, not on the Personality icon.
Choosing whether to undress while visiting Bareleaf Park alone also shifts tendency. The adult scenes on a return visit depend on Rub one out or Pour one out, not on reaching a Noble, Neutral, or Barbaric tier. In the Day 4 or 6 solo park scene, walking undressed gives a visible Charm +5; staying clothed gives Wits +5. That local stat difference does not lock either image behind a Personality tier. See the park schedule and Day 6 recovery.
Blueleaf Grove Day 10: answers while traveling
The Day 10 travel scene first changes its wording according to whether Killigan is wearing Undies or a Belt. If he is, "It feels better" moves toward Noble; "True...but this feels better" moves toward Barbaric and removes the clothing. If he is not, "You're right..." moves toward Noble and puts on a Marchanide Langou; "You're damn right." moves toward Barbaric. Both states then reach Cool things down / Join in: the first moves further toward Noble, while the second opens the optional Codex character pages Balls Research (by Mac) in that day’s update. This choice does not decide the three camp gifts. Save before the relevant answer if you want to compare Codex, Personality, and clothing. See the Day 10 journey.
